The invention provides an umbrella with an air blowing device and an air blowing method. The umbrella is provided with a central supporting rod assembly, a lower bracket, an umbrella stand and an umbrella cover, wherein the lower bracket and the central supporting rod assembly are sleeved and connected; the lower bracket is moved to drive the umbrella stand to open and close the umbrella cover; a battery is contained in a handle at the lower end of the umbrella; the air blowing device is arranged between the umbrella stand and the central supporting rod assembly; the air blowing device comprises an upper bracket, a support and a fan unit; the central supporting rod assembly of the supporting unit is provided with an annular groove for supporting a step bearing; a fan blade disc is fixedly arranged on a motor output shaft; a fan blade disc shaft part is inserted into a step bearing shaft hole and is fixedly connected with an inner side ring of the step bearing; a set of fan blades are clamped into vertical rib opening grooves of the periphery end side of the fan blade disc; the set of fan blades are uniformly and annularly distributed along the edge periphery of the fan blade disc and the fan blades are hooked on an annular rubber ring; a long straight rod part of the central supporting rod assembly penetrates through a middle hole of the lower bracket to be connected with the upper handle. The umbrella with the air blowing device has complete functions; the umbrella can be used for shading from the sunlight and also blowing air and can utilize solar energy to provide a direct power energy source to air blowing.
