Zusammenfassung:	A breakdown detection device (1) detects a breakdown of an electrical circuit containing: two strings (STa, STb) connected in parallel respectively for connecting a PV array (2a, 2b) and an inverter (5); and aggregated electrical wires (LP, Ln) for aggregating the two strings (STa, STb) and connecting with the inverter (5). The breakdown detection device (1) detects as a breakdown the case that the current (Iap) flowing through the electrical wire (STap) of string (STa) is detected, the current (Ip) flowing through aggregated electrical wire (LP) is detected, it is detected that current (Iap) is flowing through string (STa), and it is detected that current (Ip) is not flowing through aggregated electrical wire (LP).
