The invention provides an electric car constant-speed cruising method. The method includes: detecting whether a user starts a cruising preparation action or not; if so, detecting whether the driving state and hardware state of an electric car satisfy a preset cruising condition or not; if so, starting cruising control and outputting cruising speed; during cruising, using the larger one of cruising torque and accelerator torque as the output torque and outputting the output torque so as to execute acceleration or deceleration when the situation that the user starts an acceleration mode or a deceleration mode is detected, and allowing the electric car to cruise at the current speed again when the situation that the user shuts down the acceleration mode or the deceleration mode and releases an accelerator is detected.
