Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a centrifugal casted composite roller that is for hot rolling and that results from depositing/integrating an inner layer comprising an iron-based alloy to an outer layer having a composition that contains, by mass%, 0.8-3.5% of C, 0.1-2.5% of Si, 0.1-2.5% of Mn, 1.2-15% of Cr, 1-5% of Ni, and 1-10% of Mo+0.5W, the remainder consisting essentially of Fe and unavoidable impurities, the Shore hardness of the outer layer at the initial diameter of the composite roller is 67-82, and the highest value of the Shore hardness at the outer layer at a site that is at least 30 mm deep from the initial diameter is at least one higher than the Shore hardness at the outer layer at the initial diameter.
