Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method of producing a pigment composition. The pigment composition comprises a polymer-treated pigment (D) containing an azo lake pigment (A) and an aqueous polymer (C) precipitated with a multivalent metal salt (B); and a polymer (F) obtained by polymerizing polymerizable unsaturated monomers (E) in the presence of the polymer-treated pigment (D). Further, the invention relates to a method of producing the aforementioned pigment composition. The method is characterized by involving a step for synthesizing an azo dye by coupling a diazo component formed by diazotizing aromatic amines, and a coupler component; and a step for adding the aqueous polymer (C) precipitated with the multivalent metal salt (B) to the aforementioned azo dye, and using the multivalent metal salt (B) to simultaneously precipitate the azo dye and the aqueous polymer (C) precipitated with the multivalent metal salt (B), thereby creating a polymer-treated pigment (D) containing the azo lake pigment (A) and the aq |
