Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a spinning rotor for mounting in an electromagnetic bearing and a driving system of a rotor spinning machine workstation and a process for producing thereof. The spinning rotor comprises a spinning rotor (1) with opening at two sides which is arranged at one end of a hollow carrier portion (2), a ferromagnetic ring used for a function of a magnetic bearing is arranged in the periphery of the carrier portion, an annular permanent magnet (3) used for a function of an electric driver is positioned in a cavity of the carrier portion, and the permanent magnet is formed of a multipole magnet or a plurality of segments.
