Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to interferon alpha 5 (IFN-alpha5) combined with interferon alpha 2 (IFN-alpha2), for use as an anti-hepatitis C virus (HCV) drug in patients with chronic hepatitis C. Or in other words, the present invention relates to a method of treating patients with chronic hepatitis C, said method comprising the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of IFN-alpha5 combined with IFN-alpha2. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a product containing IFN- alpha5 and IFN- alpha2 as a combined preparation for simultaneous, separate, or sequential use, as an anti-HCV drug in patients with chronic hepatitis C.
