Zusammenfassung: | A casing (2) is divided by membranes (12, 13) into three chambers (14, 15, 16), two of which are the end-face ones (14, 15) and serve as ventricles and the middle one (16) is used for locating a drive therein. The drive consists of two symmetrically-mounted leak-proof bellows (21, 22) in which are located electromagnets with armatures (32, 35). The middle chamber is filled with a biologically inert fluid medium for transferring the pressure to the membranes (12, 13), as a result of which the volume of the ventricles is changed thus pumping the blood. The proposed artificial heart has small overall dimensions and a high efficiency due to a special design of the drive. |
