Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses alpha-amylase. A gene sequence of the amylase is shown in SEQ ID NO:2; an amino acid sequence encoded by the gene sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO:1; the gene sequence SEQ ID NO:2 can successfully express the alpha-amylase in an inclusion body form in escherichia coli. By adopting the alpha-amylase obtained by the inclusion body renaturation operation disclosed by the invention, the protein purity can be up to over 85%, and the renaturation rate can be up to over 50%. The alpha-amylase disclosed by the invention can be applied to rapid degradation of raw starch, and is especially applicable to degradation of rice raw starch.
