Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for producing acrylamide by supplying a starting material water to a reactor, supplying acrylonitrile to the reactor, and hydrating the acrylonitrile using a biological catalyst. This method for producing acrylamide is characterized in that the temperature of the starting material water supplied to the reactor is set to a temperature that is not less than the freezing point and is lower than the reaction temperature by 5 DEG C or more. Consequently, the present invention is able to provide a low-cost method for producing acrylamide, wherein the reaction heat during the hydration reaction of acrylonitrile can be efficiently removed.
