The invention relates to the field of charge control of a lithium battery and discloses a system and a method for controlling charging of a lithium battery pack. The system comprises a charging control unit, a detecting circuit and n charging controllers, wherein the lithium battery pack is formed by connecting n cells in series, the anode and the cathode of the lithium battery pack, and serial nodes among the cells are coupled to the n charging controllers, and each charging controller independently charges one cell; the detecting circuit detects the voltage and the current of each cell in real time and feeds a detecting signal to the charging control unit; the charging control unit independently adjusts the charging voltage and the charging current of each charging controller according to the detecting signal.
