Zusammenfassung:	The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a primer composition which is interposed between a film base and an adhesive layer of an adhesive tape and improves adhesion between the film base and the adhesive layer of the adhesive tape; and an adhesive tape which uses the primer composition. The primer composition contains 100 parts by mass (in terms of solid content) of a graft polymer that is obtained by graft-polymerizing 15-65% by mass of methyl methacrylate onto a natural rubber and 25-300 parts by mass of a carboxyl group-modified acrylonitrile butadiene rubber.
