The method comprises: when more than one dialing requests are received, a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) discovery stage negotiation is implemented respectively for each dialing request; a virtual PPP interface is created for each dialing request; the virtual PPP interface is configured; the virtual PPP interface is connected to a physical PPP interface, and one physical PPP interface is connected to more than one virtual PPP interfaces; the virtual PPP interfaces are polled by the physical PPP interface; a PPP session stage negotiation is implemented through the virtual PPP interface; the dialing is successful after the PPP session stage negotiation is completed. The present invention is mainly used in the broadband access field.
