Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed in the present invention are a method and apparatus for network dialing, which relates to the technical field of internet, and is invented to access user terminals massively in the condition that network resources are limited. The method comprises: when more than one dialing requests are received, a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) discovery stage negotiation is implemented respectively for each dialing request; a virtual PPP interface is created for each dialing request; the virtual PPP interface is configured; the virtual PPP interface is connected to a physical PPP interface, and one physical PPP interface is connected to more than one virtual PPP interfaces; the virtual PPP interfaces are polled by the physical PPP interface; a PPP session stage negotiation is implemented through the virtual PPP interface; the dialing is successful after the PPP session stage negotiation is completed. The present invention is mainly used in the broadband access field.
