Zusammenfassung:The invention belongs to the technical field of functional materials and a preparation method thereof, and relates to monohydrate-4-(4-dimethyl amino styryl) methylpyridine benzene sulfonate and a preparation method thereof. A pi electronic conjugate system exists in a molecular structure of the monohydrate-4-(4-dimethyl amino styryl) methylpyridine benzene sulfonate; a single crystal diffraction test result shows that the chemical formula of the sulfonate is C22H24N2O3S.H2O which belongs to a triclinic system under the room temperature, and has a space group of P-1, and cell parameters of: a=9.7736(10)angstrom, b=13.9411(14) angstrom, c=16.7501(17) angstrom, alpha=106.1087(12) degrees, beta= 91.3577(12) degrees, gamma= 105.0583(12) degrees, V=2106.07(40)angstrom and Z= 4.
