Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a damping device capable of preventing or suppressing bubbles from residing in a damping chamber in a manufacturing process. In the flange portion of a rotor in a damping chamber of the damping device with a bottom cylindrical housing, a front-side circularly annular end face becomes a conical surface inclined toward an outer circumferential side facing a direction far from the bottom of the housing. In the manufacturing process, viscous liquid is maintained in the housing and the housing is inserted from a bottom side according to a sequence of the shaft portion and the flange portion of the rotor.
