Animal melanin extraction method and application of extraction product thereof

The invention provides an animal melanin extraction method. The animal is insect, and the extraction method comprises the following steps: (A) by taking the insect as a raw material, performing alkali extraction to obtain alkali extraction liquid; (B) adding acid into the alkali extraction liquid until the pH value is 1-6 to obtain a precipitate; (C) washing the precipitate with an organic solvent and water, and selectively drying the precipitate to obtain a crude product of melanin; and (D) processing the crude product of melanin by an enzyme process and/or acidolysis process to obtain an insect melanin extract after complete or partial protein removal, and washing and drying the insect melanin extract to obtain the insect melanin.
