description The invention relates to mesh bag foam for treating overflowing oil. An oil-absorbent polyurethane foam material is cut into blocks or strips which are arranged in a strip-shaped cylindrical mesh bag, the diameters of meshes of the mesh bag are smaller than the size of the minimum side length of the polyurethane foam material, and two ends of the mesh bag are tightened through binding. The technical problem to be solved is of using and recovering the oil-absorbent polyurethane foam material. The mesh bag adopted is a knotless net obtained by adopting braiding, twisting, knitting methods and the like, so that the reduction of lipophilic pores caused by knotting can be avoided. The lipophilic pores are densely distributed in the mesh bag, when the mesh bag is in contact with floating oil on the water surface, the floating oil is paved on the outer surface of the mesh bag under the driving of capillary action, and flows in the inner surface of the mesh bag after penetrating through the synthetic fiber multifilam
