Touch panel and production method thereof

The invention provides a novel pattern type and structure of a capacitive touch panel shield layer and provides a production method of a touch panel. The method includes the steps of forming a plurality of conducting shafts and a plurality of second conducting units on a substrate; covering the first conducting shafts and the second conducting units with an insulating layer, with the second conducting units exposed partially at least; forming a plurality of bridge structures and a shield layer to cover the insulating layer. The bridge structures are electrically connected with the second conducting units. The production method has the advantages that when the bridge structures are formed, the shield layer is made of the same material; accordingly, the additional step of producing the shield layer is not required, the cost and production time can be saved, and the touch panel can be resistant to jamming.
