The method includes the steps that firstly, the powered devices send power utilization request messages to power supply equipment; secondly, the power supply equipment calculates starting time of the powered devices according to the received power utilization request messages of the powered devices and under the condition that a total power value of the current power supply equipment is not higher than a warning power value; thirdly, the power supply equipment sends power utilization starting messages to the powered devices, and the power utilization starting messages include the starting time and power utilization duration of the powered devices.
