A second raised area calculation means determines information including the existence of a second raised area where the outer wall of the body tissue is raised outside on the basis of the extracted outer wall of the body tissue. A display control means causes a display means to display the information of the first raised area determined by the first raised area calculation means and the information of the second raised area determined by the second raised area calculation means so as to overlap with the image of the body tissue.
