The protection method comprises the steps: when the overground part of the stevia rebaudiana growing in a field just die of freeze, covering the stevia rebaudiana in the field by utilizing crop straws by certain thickness; and when weather gets warm again and the lowest air temperature is stably kept to be above 0 DEG C, removing the crop straws. The overwintering protection technology of the stevia rebaudiana is not provided with any facility, and is low in cost and reliable in effect. |
