Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an ejection device for an injection moulding machine; the ejection device comprises at least one ejection pin (2) arranged on a first stop surface (1), a second stop surface (3), and a drive device (4) used for moving the first stop surface (1) relative to the second stop surface (3); a monitoring device (5) having an electronic memory is provided; a spring deformation curve (F(x)) representing the mechanical features of the ejection device is stored in the electronic memory; the spring deformation curve is a function (F) of a movement stroke (x) of the first stop surface (1) relative to the second stop surface (3); the monitoring device (5) is employed to monitor the movement of the first stop surface (1) relative to the second stop surface (3) under a condition the spring deformation curve (F(x)) is considered.
