Zusammenfassung: | In order to machine crankshafts (2), a machining device (3) comprises a tool (13) which has a disk-shaped main body (29) comprising cutting inserts (31) arranged circumferentially thereon. The tool (13) can be rotationally driven about a rotational axis (14) by means of a drive unit (12). A first supply line (33) for a cryogenic cooling medium (5) is arranged concentrically to the rotational axis (14), said supply line being designed to be thermally insulating at least in some sections. The tool (13) further comprises a plurality of second supply lines (34) for the cryogenic cooling medium (5) which run transversely to the rotational axis (14) and lead to the cutting inserts (31) and which are each designed to be insulating at least in some sections. A distributor unit (46) couples the first supply line (33) to at least one of the second supply lines (34) for supplying at least one of the cutting inserts (31) with the cryogenic cooling medium (5). By means of the machining device (3), the cryogenic cooling me |
