According to the hair removal agent and the method, ingredients used in the hair removal agent are non-toxic and meet food safety requirements; and the processed poultry accords with national health standards and meets the requirements of customers. The melting temperature of the hair removal agent is in a range from 75 DEG C to 95 DEG C, and the viscosity is low; the operation is simple, and the hair removal efficiency is high; and the hair removal agent can be used repeatedly and is low in using cost.
