Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a timepiece barrel (1) having a drum (2) that is coaxial to barrel arbour (3) in a direction (D) to confine a barrel spring (4) which is hooked to drum (2) and core (5). Core (5) and the barrel arbour (3) are coaxial. The core (5) is guided on the barrel arbour (3), pivoted in a bore (21) of drum (2). Core that is provided with first stopping surface (51) limits the axial travel of core (5) in a direction (D) relative to an inner surface (22) of the drum (2), and second stopping surface (52) opposite to first stopping surface (51) limits the axial travel of core (5) relative to an outer surface (23) of the drum (2). Drum (2) is imprisoned between the first and second stopping surfaces (51,52), and pivots freely about core (5).
