Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for preparing an adsorbent for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in air. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) analyzing chemical components of raw material blast furnace slag; 2) adjusting a Ca/(Al+Si) ratio and an Al/(Al+Si) ratio of the blast furnace slag; 3) preparing a reaction mixture; and 4) synthesizing the adsorbent for the VOCs. The method for synthesizing the adsorbent for the VOCs is simple to operate, economical, quick, high in synthesis safety, low environment pollution and the like; the adsorbent can be applied to actual application of VOCs-containing air purification; a new development prospect is developed for the comprehensive utilization of the blast furnace slag and the synthesis of the VOCs adsorbent; and the method can be used in the fields of industries and environments.
