The invention relates to a viewfinder for faults of a wireless cable pipe trench which comprises a wireless video detector 1 and a handheld video receiving device 2, wherein the wireless video detector 1 comprises a video head 3, an LED lamp 4, a radio frequency module 5, a USB charging interface 6, a cable pipe penetrating device spiral interface 7 and a battery 8; the video head 3 and the LED lamp 4 are arranged at the front end of the wireless video detector 1 in parallel; the battery 8 is arranged in the middle of the wireless video detector 1; and the radio frequency module 5, the USB charging interface 6 and the cable pipe penetrating device spiral interface 7 are arranged at the tail part of the wireless video detector 1. The viewfinder is used for locking fault points of the cable pipe trench and has the advantages that the structure is simple, the operation and the usage are convenient, the fault point locking efficiency is high, and requirements for a fault detection worker are not high.
