Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a cooling device which cools a control component (30) housed in a control box (32) of an air conditioner (10) having a compressor (12), an outdoor heat exchanger (14), a decompressor (16), an indoor heat exchanger (18), and tubes (20-26) which connect these and which circulate a refrigerant. The disclosed cooling device has a fan (44) for agitating the air in the control box (32), and a cooling unit (34) which is arranged in the control box (32) in a state of being separated from the control component (30) and which cools the air in the control box (32) by means of heat exchange with the refrigerant.
