Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a determination method for causes of bearing steel billet surface cracks and a preventing method; is characterized by using metallographic and SEM test methods for determination, and by using the observation result of whether a copper-rich area with a copper content exceeding 0.2% by weight exists as a basis for determining that a copper brittleness causes cracks, and by controlling the slope of a bearing steel dedicated crystallizer to be less than 1.2%, to prevent crack generation caused by the copper brittleness; and has advantages of being able to accurately determine the causes of surface cracks of GCr15 bearing steel phi180mm continuous casting round billets after acid leaching microstructure detection, thus providing guidance for production, and especially effectively preventing problems of cracks caused by copper brittleness.
