Zusammenfassung:	When a management device receives a purchase request (RE), a rank corresponding to a membership ID is acquired, and a membership ID of friends corresponding to the membership ID is acquired. A CPU accesses the member database, acquires the rank corresponding to the membership ID of each friend, determines the highest rank of the acquired ranks, and acquires a discount rate corresponding to the highest rank. Next, the CPU calculates a payment amount by applying the discount rate to the monetary amount of a product or service to be purchased, and transmits to the communication device the purchasing response including the payment amount.
