Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for a separation of at least one metal from a slag containing at least one metal and other components and to the use of at least one magnetic particle in the separation of the slag. The method comprises at least the following steps: (A) grinding the slag, (B) if appropriate, contacting the ground slag of the step (A) with at least one surface-active substance and/or at least one magnetic particle,in the presence of at least one dispersant if appropriate , resulting in formation of agglomerates of the at least one metal and the at least one magnetic particle, (C) if appropriate, adding at least one dispersant to the mixture obtained in the step (B) to obtain a dispersion having a suitable concentration, and (D) seperating the agglomerates from the mixture of the step (B) or (C) by application of a magnetic field..
