Sampling device

A sampling device, wherein: at the fore-end of a flexible sheath (3), said flexible sheath (3) being integrally inserted with an ultrasonic oscillator array (20), a cell-sampling hole (10) formed of a through hole penetrating the outer circumference and inner space at the fore-end of the flexible sheath (3) is formed; and further an edge (11) for cutting a sample is formed at the opening in the outer circumferential side of the cell-sampling hole (10). After the flexible sheath (3) reaches a lesion (41) or the like in a subject, sampling is conducted without separately inserting, for example, medical forceps into the flexible sheath (3). Thus, a sample (42) at the target site such as the lesion (41) or the like can be surely collected without unnecessarily increasing the frequency of the insertion-extraction of the device into and from the body, which contributes to the reduction of the burden on the subject.
