A preparation method of the ZrO2 thermal barrier coating comprises the following steps of: firstly, preparing stable nanometer zirconia powder with a large specific surface area by adopting ZrO(NO3)2 as a zirconium source and dropwise adding epoxypropane, and then preparing the ZrO2 thermal barrier coating by adding a right amount of Lu2O3, In2O3, A12O3 and TiO2 on the basis of the prepared stable nanometer zirconia powder with the large specific surface area.
