Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a device and a method for for vibration damping in motor vehicle. The device has an electro-mechanical vibration damper (40) which is designed to stabilize the relative movements between a vehicle wheel (21-24) and a vehicle body (10) for converting the relative movements in electrical energy in the operation of the motor vehicle. A hydraulic vibration damper (30) is designed to stabilize the relative movements between the vehicle wheel and the vehicle body in the operation of the motor vehicle. The hydraulic vibration damper is operated parallel to the electro-mechanical vibration damper.
