Backing paper for coating and coated paper employing backing paper

The invention discloses backing paper for coating. The backing paper comprises body paper and a coating formed on the surface of the body paper, wherein the coating is formed by coating a coating material; the coating material contains pigment and latex, and the mass ratio of the pigment to the latex in the coating material is 100:(9-15); the coating amount of the coating material is 8 to 16g/m ; and the surface tension of the latex is more than or equal to 55mN/m. The invention also provides coated paper prepared from the backing paper. The surface tension of the latex in the coating of the backing paper for coating is controlled to be more than or equal to 55mN/m, and a certain using amount of the latex and a certain coating amount of the coating material are matched to fulfill the aim of improving own surface tension of the backing paper and endowing the surface of the backing paper with high adhesion, so that a coating layer and the backing paper can be firmly combined.
