The invention discloses a sludge dewatering tempering agent and a method for sludge dewatering by utilizing the same. The sludge dewatering tempering agent disclosed by the invention contains the following components in parts by weight: 0.2-8 parts of polyacrylamide, 5-35 parts of inorganic polymeric flocculants, 30-80 parts of coal ash and 5-30 parts of surfactants. The method comprises the steps of feeding the sludge dewatering tempering agent disclosed by the invention into a secondary sedimentation tank, and stirring and coagulating, directly carrying out centrifugal treatment on sludge flowing into a concentrating tank from the secondary sedimentation tank. The sludge dewatering tempering agent disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the flocculation capacity and the seepage force are strong, the sludge tempering effect is good, the moisture content of the sludge after tempering is low, the quantity reduction treatment of the sludge is realized, and the cost is low.
