USB (universal serial bus) camera device and method thereof

The invention discloses a USB (universal serial bus) camera device and a method thereof. The USB camera device comprises a camera and a USB data line, and is characterized in that an image processing chip, a TVIA chip and a USB signal amplifier are arranged on the camera. The method includes that the image processing chip converts analog video signals received from the camera into digital signals which are converted into digital signals in a USB transmission format by the TVIA chip, and the digital signals in the USB transmission format are amplified by the USB signal amplifier to be transmitted onto a computer through the USB data line. The USB camera device is simple in structure, easy to install and debug and supportive of high-definition displays, mainstream operating systems and multi-brand computer compatibility, and solves the problem that conventional monitoring equipment is complex and inconvenient in wiring.
