A Cassia fistula L. fruit ethyl acetate extract provided by the invention has an HIV-1 protease activity inhibition rate of 83.4%. IC50 of HIV-1 protease inhibition activity of piceatannol separated from Cassia fistula L. fruit is 59mum.
