| Zusammenfassung: | A battery comprises an over-pressure interruption assembly having a pressure sensing surface which is arranged to deform and break electrical connection when the internal pressure of the battery reaches a predetermined pressure threshold. The pressure sensing surface comprises a pattern of predefined mechanical weakness which is adapted to effect the electrical connection breaking deformation when over-pressure is detected. The assembly has a low contact resistance during normal battery operation conditions while permitting rapid current interruption when the internal pressure of the battery reaches or exceeds the predetermined pressure threshold. |
