Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an articulated chain (1), in particular a drive chain of an internal combustion engine, comprising chain links (2, 3), which are connected to each other by a chain hinge (4). Each of the inner and outer chain links (3, 2), which are preferably arranged in an alternating manner, have at least two link plates (6, 7) which lie parallel to each other and each of which has two hinge openings (12). In order to form a chain hinge, a hinge pin (5) extends through each of the hinge openings of the link plates. According to the invention, the link plates are made of boron-manganese steel.
