The multispectral imager comprises a liquid crystal light valve array, a preposed optical system, a microlens array, a detector and a liquid crystal light valve control module, wherein the liquid crystal light valve array is arranged on a main face of the preposed optical system, an imaging target and the microlens array meet an objective image relation through the preposed optical system, the main face of the preposed optical system and the detector meet the objective image relation through the microlens array, and the liquid crystal light valve control module achieves programmable control of central wavelength of the liquid crystal light valve.
