The pigment dyeing method comprises the following steps of: firstly performing low-temperature plasma pretreatment on the cotton fabric, and then performing pigment dyeing, wherein low-temperature plasma is of normal-pressure dielectric barrier discharge plasma. The pigment dyeing method for the cotton fabric by adopting the dielectric barrier discharge low-temperature plasma pretreatment, disclosed by the invention, adopts water-free and normal-pressure treatment, has the advantages of cleanliness, high efficiency, small environmental pollution and continuous processing, can enable a dyeing effect and the color fastness to be in line with requirements and is suitable for batch production of the textile fabric.
