The underwater aerator comprises a high oxygen jetting device (1), a water pump (2), a drive motor (3) and a floating bucket (7). The underwater aerator is characterized in that a separation plate (6) is arranged in the floating bucket (7), the drive motor (3) is installed below the separation plate (6), an input shaft of the water pump (2) is connected with an output shaft of the drive motor (3), an output of the water pump (2) is communicated with a water inlet pipe (15) of the high oxygen jetting device (1), an oxygen inlet (6-1) is formed in the separation plate (6) and communicated with an oxygen inlet (14) of the high oxygen jetting device (1) through an oxygen inlet pipe (5) so as to form a high pressure flow jetting and aerating structure, a check valve (4) is arranged in the middle of the oxygen inlet pipe (5) so as to prevent water from flowing back into the floating bucket (7), an air hole (7-1) is formed in the top of the f
