Vehicle scanning and examining device

The invention discloses a vehicle scanning and examining device. The vehicle scanning and examining device is in a doorframe type structure and comprises a radioactive source and a shield tank, a detector array, an electronics system, an image production and processing system and a control system of the image production and processing system. The radioactive source is arranged inside the shield tank. The electronics system is composed of a gamma photon signal shaping circuit, a signal acquisition card and an industrial personal computer. A radial collimator is arranged outside the shield tank. The detector array is composed of sodium iodide (thallium) crystals and photomultipliers which are coupled with the sodium iodide (thallium) crystals. The detector array uses a row of linear detector arrays. The invention provides the vehicle scanning and examining device which is in a doorframe type mechanical structure of low dose, low cost and small occupied space.
