Mercury-free zinc powder treating method, battery zinc paste and alkaline battery

The invention provides a mercury-free zinc powder treating method which comprises the following step of annealing mercury-free zinc powder. Compared with the untreated mercury-free zinc powder obtained by an atomization technology in the prior art, the mercury-free zinc powder is annealed, and is heated to a certain temperature through annealing; the temperature is kept for a period of time; then the mercury-free zinc powder is slowly cooled to ensure that trace elements in the mercury-free zinc powder are further diffused; internal components of particles of the mercury-free zinc powder are uniformly distributed and impurities in the mercury-free zinc powder are diffused so that the mercury-free zinc powder difficultly forms a micro-cell structure in alkaline liquor; and therefore, the gassing rate of the mercury-free zinc powder can be reduced and further the electric property and the safety leakage preventing property of a cell can be improved.
