Timbre matching method and timbre matching device

The invention discloses a timbre matching method and a timbre matching device. The timbre matching method includes the following steps: sound collected from a user is converted into a sound wave curve chart; a standard timbre function is matched out according to the sound wave curve chart and a pre-stored standard timbre function; and a matched object most similar to the timbre of the user is matched out from a timbre base according to the standard timbre function of the user. The timbre matching method converts the sound into mathematical expression, then quantizes the timbre, compares and matches the quantized timbre, and further matches out two objects similar in timbre. When the timbre matching method is applied to a karaoke system, a matched object most similar to the user, namely a singer is matched out according to the sound of the user.
