The invention provides a light guide plate; a gap is formed in the light guide plate for arranging a light source; the light guide plate comprises at least one light collecting part; the light collecting part comprises a light entry area and a reflection area; the light entry area is arranged around the gap; and the reflection area is in a wedge shape, and obliquely extends from one surface, which is opposite to the gap, of the light entry area to the inner side of the light guide plate until being level with the light guide plate. The invention also provides a manufacturing method of the light guide plate; and according to the light guide plate, the manufacturing is convenient, and the overall brightness can be effectively improved.
