Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for identifying driver and recognizing driver condition based on ultrasonic wave. The apparatus for identifying driver and recognizing driver condition based on the ultrasonic wave is characterized in that: the difference between ultrasonic wave transmission time and receiving time of the transmitted ultrasonic wave after reflection by object is used; in a condition without environment effect, driver depth information which is used as inherent information according to driver image is obtained; and the driver is identified based on the obtained driver depth information, and the driver condition is detected. According to the invention, because no effect by light environment change exists, an effect of improving user identification and detection for driver condition is obtained.
