Method for collecting data of tap water pipe network system by GPS (Global Position System) technology

The invention relates to a method for collecting data of a tap water pipe network system by GPS (Global Position System) technology. The method comprises the steps of: (1) collecting space data of collection points on the power cable lines by a GPS receiver, and storing in a first storage; (2) recording attribute information of each collection point, and storing in a second storage; (3) converting the space data of the collection points to be standard CAD data format by a processor; (4) establishing one-to-one relationship between the space data and the attribute information of the collection points; and (5) transmitting the finally obtained information of the collection points to a power cable pipe network information system, thereby completing the collection of data. Compared with prior art, the method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple process, high measurement accuracy, small time influence, low cost in implementing and the like.
